Construction methods

Location: Cerro Mouro

The homes we are going to construct at Cerro Mouro come with a series of unique and sustainable features that set us apart from mainstream construction methods which are both outdated and environmentally hazardous, including:

Prefabricated panel timber frames which are comfortably warm on cold days and wonderfully cool in summer, meaning there is little need for energy-guzzling heating or cooling units. In addition to indoor comfort and energy savings, our wall panels are made with breathable materials, preventing fungal and mold growth, and are hypoallergenic. The wall panels also have a resistance to the passage of sound, resulting in exceptional acoustic comfort. Lastly, the panels are CO2 storing, reducing the carbon footprint of construction significantly.
